| Kelsey Geerdes Kelsey Geerdes grew up on a farm in northwest Kansas near a small town, Hoxie, KS. She graduated from Hoxie High School in 2016. After graduating high school she moved to Manhattan, KS to attend Kansas State University. Kelsey graduated with her bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2020. After graduating with her bachelors degree she began teaching 3rd grade in Fort Riley, KS. While teaching at Fort Riley, she also worked to obtain her master’s degree in special education from Kansas State. Kelsey graduated with her masters degree in the spring of 2023. After graduating with her master’s degree, she accepted the K-4 special education position in Centralia. Kelsey is engaged to Peyton Deters, they will get married in June 2023.
